WCM Clay Shoot for Macmillan Cancer Support

Well that’s another successful WCM Clay Shoot over for the year raising much needed funds in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. It was an eventful day filled with many familiar faces as well as new ones. The morning started off well with a lot of cloud cover, followed by a power outage, and then the rain came, but that didn’t put a damper on the day as Park Lodge Shooting School hosted a fabulous event.

The events for the day included four group shoots sponsored by Agrico, Brown & Co, HZPC and Meijer Seed Potato, a Knockout competition sponsored by A B Texel Haulage and WCM’s Clay Snooker.

The results for the day are as follows:

Group Competition
1st Place: HZPC
2nd Place: Etton Rifles
3rd Place: Mustang Grimme

Notably HZPC scored a remarkable 99 on the Fir & Feather, as did Etton Riffles on the Partridge. These are incredible results and just show how fierce the competition was this year.

This ‘Shoot Until You Miss’ competition was won by Kevin Jobling from HZPC with an outstanding 19 hits in a row.

Clay Snooker
Our very own Liam Hayton won this competition on an impressive 74 points.

Whole Crop Marketing would like to thank everyone who attended the day, sponsored the event, donated raffle prizes and Park Lodge Shooting School for hosting this wonderful event. Your generosity has helped us raise a total of £4,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
